Job Description

Head - Total Quality Management - Chemicals/Petrochemical (9-15 yrs) Designation : Head TQM Educational Qualification : BE/BTech. with certification in Lead Auditor in Quality system Nature of experience : Driving & facilitating TQM initiatives in manufacturing organizations. Experience : 5-7 years, post qualification Job Role : - To integrate TQM activities across both plants - To keep abreast with the latest developments in TQM - To guide and coordinate with all the departments so as to follow Quality Management System in spirit. - Sustaining and improving participation level of employees to meet future requirements for achieving operational excellence is a continuous challenge - Raising the level of capabilities of people and systems. - Provide facilitation in the implementation of TQM practices in various processes - Timely review of plant operations to ensure full capacity utilization and safe and efficient manner. - Act as a custodian of systems and procedures - To establish a system of daily management and policy management in all the processes. - To educate the employees on various principles and tools of quality management. - To train and provide guidance on problem solving techniques and other SPC tools - To upgrade level of operators through establishing a system of evaluating their skills and knowledge on the basis of skill matrix. - Ensure involvement & participation of all people - To conceptualize a road map for TQM - Implementation, monitor its progress and provide facilitation wherever needed. - Implementing annually planning cycle by deployment of unit level directions and control points to various processes and down to operating level - To establish a system of policy management in all the processes - Coordinate T.I.E (Total involvement of employees) activities across the plant - Ensure certification of model machines to step3 of autonoums. - To act as Management Representative to maintain the Quality system (QMS, EMS ) in line with the requirements of ISO/TS16949 / ISO 9001:2015 standards so as to ensure conformance to the laid down procedures & standards - To conduct regular internal audits and facilitating for convening Management Review committee meetings(MRC).
